Glass Openings

Glass Openings: bifold doors, windows and rooflights supplied across the UK

Glass Openings is a UK supplier of glazed architectural products, trading under Lana Group Limited. Its catalogue centres on bifolding door systems, but also covers aluminium and UPVC doors, a broad range of window styles, roof lanterns and flat rooflights, alongside a separate line of trade supplies. The company presents its bifold range as combining design with security and thermal performance, and sells both bespoke configurations and ready-made stock sizes.

Bifold doors as the core product

The bifold range is organised by type, material and panel count. Buyers can choose bespoke bifolds, stock bifolds or corner bifolds, all in aluminium, with configurations running from two to seven panels. The company describes its bespoke bifold as its most popular model and highlights thermal efficiency as a selling point. A configurator allows customers to build a door to their own specification.

Doors in aluminium and UPVC

Beyond bifolds, the door catalogue is split by material and by whether the product is made to order or held in stock.

• Bespoke aluminium: single doors, heritage single doors, French doors, heritage French doors, sliding doors and front doors.
• Stock aluminium: single, heritage single, French, heritage French and sliding doors.
• Bespoke UPVC: single and French doors.
• Stock UPVC: single doors, French doors and sliding patio doors.

Panelled aluminium front doors are presented as a way to make a statement at the entrance, while the UPVC door line is positioned around sleek design and thermal efficiency.

Window styles and materials

The window range is extensive and available in both aluminium and UPVC. Styles listed include casement, flush casement, heritage, tilt and turn, COR 70 hidden sash, bifold, French, sliding, raked and bay or bow windows. Flush casement windows are singled out in the site navigation as a highlighted line, offered in both materials.

Rooflights and roof lanterns

For flat roofs, the company supplies Korniche aluminium roof lanterns, both stock and bespoke, and aluminium stock flat rooflights. These products are marketed around introducing natural light into a space, and the roof lantern can be configured through an online design tool.

Trade supplies and components

A separate supplies section addresses installers and trade buyers with glazing-related components. Categories include aluminium profiles and sections (angles, box sections, channels, cills, flat bars, I sections, round bars, square bars, T sections and tubes), door frame extensions, window posts, WPC decking, integral blind units, sealed glass units, external and internal cladding, fascia and soffits, frame extenders, guttering, reinforced posts and couplers, and trims. Consumables cover adhesives and lubricants, cleaning products, door and window furniture, expanding foam, fixings and fasteners, sealants and glues, site safety tools and window packers. A gasket line includes bubble, wedge, flipper, bifold, door and window gaskets.

Delivery, guarantees and purchasing

The company states that it supplies products only and delivers nationwide on a daily basis, with free standard delivery to the UK mainland on orders over £1,200, subject to terms. It advertises a ten-year guarantee on all products, including a twelve-month parts and labour guarantee, and notes that its products are made in Britain and fabricated in the UK. Payment can be spread using PayPal. The site also provides a help centre and a callback request service, and lists practical guidance pages on measuring, building regulations, guarantees and downloads.
