The Modern Garage Company

Reworking the space inside an existing garage

The Modern Garage Company designs and installs interiors for garages that homeowners already have. It does not present itself as a builder of new garage structures. Its projects turn an underused space into storage, a home gym, a golf simulator studio, a workshop or a more polished place for cars. The company says it has over twenty years of experience and works across the UK, with a particular focus on Surrey, Berkshire, Cheshire and Buckinghamshire.

Three levels of service

A full-service fit-out can combine flooring, lighting, painted walls, mirrors, electrical work and slatwall storage. Additional choices include acoustic finishes, metal cabinetry and features such as a dog shower. For customers who only want a floor, the website lists resin finishes, gym flooring and interlocking tiles. It also offers design work for a golf studio, where the fit-out must take account of equipment and the dimensions of the existing garage.

Design around the intended use

The site has case studies and a showroom section, as well as a guide to golf simulators and a cycling storage guide. These help a homeowner decide which functions should come first before specifying cabinets, floor finish and lighting. The company describes bespoke work, so exact price and completion time depend on measurements, materials and the requested features. Its two phone contacts and email are available for an initial discussion.
