Julia Jones Ltd: Fama upholstery and Italian outdoor furniture in Conwy

Julia Jones Ltd operates a furniture showroom on Conway Road in Mochdre, Conwy, and sells online and by telephone across the United Kingdom. The business presents itself as a Fama specialist and describes its premises as the UK's only dedicated Fama showroom, a claim that appears in its own promotional copy. Its range centres on modern and contemporary Spanish and Italian furniture made to order, with 0% finance and nationwide delivery offered according to the site's own description.

Seating built around Fama

The largest part of the catalogue is Fama upholstery. Modular sofas are grouped into fabric models, recliner sofas, high-back sofas, curved sofas, sofas with removable covers and leather sofas, alongside sofa footstools and tables. The armchair section covers recliner armchairs, standard armchairs, swivel chairs, the You&Me loveseat format, riser recliners and home office chairs. Sofa beds and chair beds are listed separately for buyers who need occasional sleeping space.

Individual Fama pieces named in the store's featured selection include the Lenny chair, the Moonrise power recliner with swivel and rocking functions, the Kim recliner armchair and the Kylian swivel armchair. The site showed discounted prices on these items at the time of writing, presented as part of a Fama autumn sale.

Outdoor living with Nardi and Emu

Outdoor furniture is a distinct area of the business. Nardi is described as Italian designed and made and positioned as suited to British weather, while Emu is presented as Italian designed and made metal outdoor furniture. The outdoor catalogue spans dining chairs and barstools, dining tables, sofas and armchairs, sunloungers, complete garden sets, tables and accessories, dividers, contract tables and furniture made from recycled plastic.

Dining and contract ranges

Dining furniture is organised into extending tables, fixed tables, dining chairs and barstools. A separate contract section addresses trade or commercial furnishing with dining chairs and stools, dining tables, sofas and armchairs, sunloungers, and tables and accessories. Dekton dining tables also appear as their own line, presented as a surface that does not require tablecloths or mats.

Buying process and services

The company supports remote purchasing through several channels. Customers can request a quote, make a payment online, or arrange a live video chat after indicating a preferred contact method. The site also lists a furniture care plan, a delivery service, a blog, customer reviews and a newsletter sign-up, and runs a clearance section alongside seasonal promotions. A price promise and design advice are advertised as part of the showroom offer.

Showroom visits

The Mochdre showroom operates by appointment only, and the company invites customers to book a private appointment before visiting. Online and telephone enquiries are handled seven days a week. The business is registered as Julia Jones Ltd under company number 4615539.
