Left Handed Golf

Left Handed Golf: a specialist retailer for left-handed players in Cobham

Left Handed Golf Ltd is a British retailer dedicated to left-handed golfers, trading since March 2004. The company states that it was founded to give left-handed players the same level of service and variety that right-handed golfers already had, and it presents itself as Europe's leading left-handed specialist retailer. Its shop is located at the Silvermere Golf Complex in Cobham, Surrey, and it also sells through its website.

Club range and categories

The catalogue is organised around the full set of clubs a player needs. It covers drivers, fairways, hybrids, driving irons, irons, single irons, chippers, wedges, putters and package sets, with dedicated sections for ladies and junior golf clubs. Bundles and offers are grouped separately, and the site also lists bags, gloves and golf accessories.

Beyond new equipment, the store maintains a second-hand section with used drivers, fairways, irons and putters, plus a clearance area that includes bundles, woods, irons, wedges, putters and junior items. Gift vouchers and hire sets are also offered.

Brands stocked

Left Handed Golf stocks clubs from PING, TaylorMade, Callaway and Titleist, among other manufacturers. The site states that it only stocks "the best in the business" and presents its selection as the newest models from leading manufacturers in the golfing industry.

Custom fitting and club trials

Custom fitting is a core part of the service. The company argues that every golfer is unique and that matching equipment to the individual swing is essential to get the most enjoyment and performance from the clubs. Fittings take place at the Silvermere facility, and customer reviews published on the site describe sessions with fitters named Bill, Alex, Alfie, Harry, Rob and Jeevs.

For players who want to test equipment before committing, the store runs a try-before-you-buy service on a two-tier driving range equipped with Top Tracer technology and 27 bays for left-handed golfers. Balls for the trial can be purchased at a reduced rate of £5.00, an amount that is fully refundable if a purchase is made in the Left Handed Golf store.

Lessons and additional services

The site lists golf lessons with James Ford among its offerings, alongside gift vouchers and club hire sets. It also mentions that drivers can be repaired at the shop, according to one of the customer accounts reproduced on the page.

Delivery and shopping options

Orders can be placed online with express UK delivery, and international shipping is available. Customers can also choose to collect purchases in store. Prices are shown in pounds sterling, with a euro option on the site.

Customer feedback shown on the site

The reviews reproduced on the website, dated between July and August 2026, repeatedly highlight fast delivery, stock availability for left-handed players and the knowledge of the fitting staff. One reviewer in Ireland reported ordering on a Sunday night and receiving the clubs on Wednesday, while another mentioned a seven wood bought for £129. A customer also noted that the selection of used clubs in store was smaller than expected.
