Premier Pool Care

Pool maintenance and liner installation in Essex

Premier Pool Care is a swimming pool service company working with private, in-ground pools in Chelmsford and much of Essex, with a stated focus on residential rather than commercial or public facilities. Its work covers scheduled maintenance, cleaning, leak detection, air source heat pump installation, pool covers and the fitting of premium welded liners. The company presents itself as offering fast response, experienced staff, fair prices and full licensing, and describes its aim as providing swimming pool maintenance, servicing and repairs.

Scheduled maintenance and cleaning

Maintenance is offered as regular servicing to keep pool equipment running smoothly throughout the year. Visits are booked in blocks of six on a weekly or fortnightly basis, a schedule the company says ensures consistency during peak season and offers the best value; the arrangement renews automatically until the client asks to stop. Each visit is described as including a full vacuum of the pool floor and removal of debris, skimming of the surface, cleaning of tile bands and steps where needed, removal of floating objects, cleaning of all skimmers, emptying and cleaning of the pump basket, backwashing the filtration system, checking water levels and temperature, testing and adjusting chemical levels, and inspecting equipment while flagging any issues.

Cleaning is presented as a separate service aimed at keeping water clear and hygienic. The company does not offer one-off cleaning visits, arguing that a single service cannot guarantee a pool is clean, safe and fully operational. It does provide pool opening and shutdown services: the opening includes removing the cover, checking and restarting equipment, testing and balancing the water, cleaning the pool and confirming everything is safe and operational, while the shutdown is intended to protect the pool during colder months.

Leak detection and heating

Leak detection is offered as a way to identify and locate hidden swimming pool leaks. The company also installs air source heat pumps, presented as an efficient way to keep a pool comfortably heated with minimal environmental impact.

Liners and covers

The company installs premium welded pool liners and also offers traditional bag liners. The premium range is built around Haogenplast membranes in several designs:

• StoneTile: a stone-perforated, non-slip surface intended as a waterproofing solution for building or renovating private pools.
• StoneFlex: a water-tight membrane with a 3D surface that mimics real stone.
• Larch: an alternative to natural wood produced through a printing and embossing process.
• Matrix: gives pools the appearance of real mosaic tiles while aiming for impermeability and leak-free performance.
• 3D-Uni: an enhanced surface coating for stain resistance, easy cleaning, UV resistance, a dry-stone feel and a non-slip grip.

Pool covers are supplied and fitted as replacements, since the company notes that covers wear out in English weather.

Service area and scope

Maintenance is provided across Chelmsford and much of Essex, with named areas including Hutton Mount, Ramsden Heath, East London, Bishops Stortford, Southend-on-Sea, Rayleigh, Loughton, Ilford, Hadleigh and Maldon; the company adds that it may still be able to help nearby locations not listed. Above-ground pools are not cleaned, and jacuzzis or hot tubs are only cleaned when they belong to a property whose swimming pool is under regular maintenance. Standalone jacuzzi cleaning is not offered.
