Pro-Tek Flooring

Rigid-core vinyl flooring

Pro-Tek Flooring sells luxury vinyl click flooring for residential and commercial spaces. Its ranges use a rigid core and locking system, and the website describes the boards as waterproof with built-in underlay. Customers can browse wood-effect planks, herringbone patterns and other finishes by colour, design or room. A product that is suitable for a bedroom may face different moisture, wear or slip requirements in a bathroom, gym or restaurant, so the specification for the chosen collection matters.

Collections and design choices

The site separates Value, Editions and Tek-Core collections, including plank and herringbone options. It also lists wall panels and accessories such as transition profiles, edge trims and stair nosing. A room visualiser lets shoppers see how a floor may look in a space, while free sample ordering offers a way to compare colour and texture in natural light. The visualiser is useful for narrowing choices, but a physical sample and the product data sheet are better for checking the actual finish and wear layer.

Planning an installation

Pro-Tek publishes measuring, installation, underfloor-heating, cleaning and maintenance guidance. Before ordering, the floor area should be measured with an allowance for cuts, pattern alignment and waste. Herringbone layouts may require a different allowance from straight planks. Subfloor condition, expansion space and the heating system also affect the result. Installers and trade buyers can use the downloadable specifications and ask the supplier about matching trims and warranty registration.

Ordering, samples and support

The shop provides a telephone number and email address, trade registration, delivery and returns information, and a way to order samples. It advertises free standard UK delivery above a stated order value, subject to its conditions. Prices are shown per square metre for particular ranges, but the total project cost also depends on trims, preparation and delivery. Customers should confirm the number of packs, batch consistency and delivery access before a large order is placed.
