Carmarthen Camera Centre

Carmarthen Camera Centre, a photography retailer in West Wales

Carmarthen Camera Centre operates as a photographic and video equipment retailer serving West Wales, trading online through carmarthencameras.com. Its catalogue combines new and pre-owned cameras, lenses and accessories with a broader range of imaging and optical goods, and the store presents itself as an authorised dealer working with 100% UK stock rather than grey imports.

The business describes itself as a professional, knowledgeable UK store and positions expert advice and part-exchange valuations alongside the sale of equipment. It addresses both beginners and professionals, according to its own presentation.

Cameras, lenses and imaging equipment

The camera range is organised by type rather than by brand: mirrorless, DSLR, bridge, compact, action and 360 models, and film and instant cameras. Lenses form a separate section, alongside tripods and monopods, camera bags and cases, batteries, memory cards, filters, flashguns and speedlights, gimbals and stabilisers, and light meters.

Beyond still photography, the catalogue extends to video cameras and cine cameras, on-camera monitors, microphones and audio mixers, LED panels and ring lights, softboxes, diffusers and umbrellas, studio backgrounds and stands. Drones and UAV equipment appear as their own category, with drone batteries listed separately.

Optics, astronomy and specialist viewing

A distinct optics section covers binoculars and monoculars, spotting scopes and their accessories, rangefinders, telescopes and telescope accessories, microscopes and microscope accessories. The store also lists thermal imaging and night vision devices, trail cameras, rifle scopes and metal detectors.

Among the products highlighted at the time of writing were Zeiss Conquest Apia spotting scopes in straight and angled versions, with 20-50x65 and 24-60x85 configurations, plus 21.5mm MRAD and MOA eyepieces. Hikmicro Habrok 4K HH35L 2.0 multi-spectrum binoculars also appeared among recently added items.

Used equipment and part-exchange

Second-hand gear has its own place in the offer, presented as a way to access high-quality camera equipment on a budget. The store states that it provides competitive part-exchange valuations, which allows customers to trade existing equipment against a purchase.

In-house print centre and personalised services

The shop houses an in-house print centre for photo printing and personalised services. Related stock includes photo paper, photo albums, picture frames and film developing and processing supplies, alongside film scanners and slide projectors for those working with analogue material.

Wider product catalogue
