Bell Tent Boutique

Bell Tent Boutique: canvas bell tents and glamping equipment from Nottingham

Bell Tent Boutique is a British online retailer specialising in canvas bell tents, portable wood-burning tent stoves and the accessories that accompany them. The company presents itself as celebrating its tenth anniversary and sells through its own website, with a catalogue that spans tents, stoves, flooring, lighting and furnishings for glamping and extended-season camping.

The business is reachable on 0115 966 3535 and at hello@belltentboutique.co.uk, and its site lists free UK shipping, a price match guarantee and a two-year tent warranty among its stated policies.

A tent range built around size and canvas weight

The catalogue is organised primarily by diameter and by the fabric used. Bell tents are offered in 3m, 4m, 5m, 6m and 7.5m versions, alongside the larger Emperor and Touareg models and a separate line of camper awnings. Each size is presented with an indicative capacity, from the 1-2 person 3m tent up to the 8-10 person Emperor and the 4-10 person Touareg.

Buyers can choose between several canvas specifications:

• Polycotton canvas at 200gsm
• Natural cotton canvas at 285gsm
• Flame-resistant canvas at 360gsm
• Stove-ready canvas at 285-360gsm
• Inflatable dome tents in 200gsm fabric

Within these ranges the shop distinguishes standard models from 'Pro' versions made with 360gsm Proban flame-resistant canvas and equipped with the StoveMate stove flap, and from 'Superlite' polycotton models. A dedicated kids' bell tent line is also listed, and the site publishes a bell tent size guide and a buyer's guide to help match model to use.

Portable stoves and the Outbacker range

Tent heating is a substantial part of the offer. The store sells tent stoves, stove accessories and flashing kits, and states that flashing kits are discounted by 50% when bundled with a stove. The stove catalogue is dominated by the Outbacker brand, with portable models supplied with complete flue kits and specified by power output and weight. Examples include the Pioneer at 2.5kW and 10kg, the Firebox at 3.5kW and 12kg, the Firebox Vista and Vista Eco Burn with large windows, the Firebox Range and Range Eco Burn oven stoves at 3.5kW and 20.5kg, the Firebox Flame Clear View, the Ignis 270° flame-view stove at 4.5kW and 21kg, the Firebox Vista XL Eco Burn at 4.0kW and 19kg, the Firebox Range XL Eco Burn oven stove at 4.0kW and 32kg, and the Hygge Oval packages at 4.5kW and 18kg. Several models are also sold in Robens Tipi Kit versions.

The site also lists a smokeless 19-inch fire pit among its heating and outdoor products.

Accessories, bundles and seasonal offers

Beyond tents and stoves, the shop groups its accessories into flooring, lighting, furnishings, tent essentials and spares. The flooring category includes glamping coir mats, chindi rag rugs and recycled mats; tent essentials cover awnings, inner tents, groundsheets, footprints, tent covers and wooden accessories. Gift vouchers and gift cards are also sold.

The retailer promotes all-in-one camping bundles and curated glamping bundles, the latter described as including a free gift. At the time of writing this profile, the site advertised an autumn sale on tents and glamping essentials, a 20% discount on tent stoves with any tent purchase, and the tenth anniversary of the business.

Customer feedback and buying policies

The site displays a Trustpilot rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on 3,300 reviews, and reproduces customer comments referring to tent quality, ease of setup and delivery speed. One reviewer notes that an inner tent was out of stock at the time of purchase. The shop presents itself in English but offers language options in French, German and Spanish, and prices in pounds sterling with a country selector covering the United Kingdom, much of Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand.
