Kitchens @ The Loft

Kitchen planning in West Lothian

Kitchens @ The Loft is a family-run kitchen studio near Broxburn, West Lothian. It designs and installs complete kitchens and can also update a room by replacing doors, worktops and selected fittings. The business began in Livingston in 2003 and moved to its present showroom in 2011. That distinction between full replacement and refurbishment is useful for a household deciding what work is necessary: sound existing cabinets may be kept when the layout still works.

Designing a new kitchen

For a full kitchen, the team visits the home, measures the space and discusses how it should be used. It then prepares a design with CAD software and a quotation based on the chosen components. Customers are invited back to the showroom to review the plan and can request amendments before a final quotation. This process gives room to test practical questions such as worktop space, storage, appliance placement and circulation around open doors, rather than choosing cabinet finishes before the layout is settled.

Refurbishing cabinets and surfaces

When the cabinet bodies are in good condition, Kitchens @ The Loft offers made-to-measure or standard doors, worktops, sinks, taps, appliances and accessories. Extra units or drawers can also be added. Its product range includes Shaker and slab doors, cabinet colours and soft-close fittings, with worktops in laminate, timber, granite, Corian, Silestone and Dekton. The suitable option depends on existing cabinet dimensions, desired maintenance and budget. A measured visit can clarify which parts can remain and what needs to be replaced.

Broxburn showroom and consultation

The showroom is at 11 Houston Mains, Dechmont, Broxburn EH52 6PA, beside Dobbies Garden Centre on the A89. Five full kitchen displays show different door styles and worksurfaces, together with appliances and accessories; parking is available at the front. The business lists a showroom schedule in the practical-information panel and says appointments outside those hours can be discussed. Visitors can bring room measurements or photos to an initial conversation, while a home visit is needed for a precise design and quote.
