The Van Man Co.

The Van Man Co.: Man and Van Services Across the UK

The Van Man Co. operates as an intermediary platform that connects customers with independent local drivers and removals firms for man and van jobs and full house removals throughout the UK. The service allows users to obtain an instant online quote and book a driver, with the option of same-day jobs. The company states that moves are carried out by independent local drivers or removals firms.

How the Booking Process Works

Customers begin by entering the moving-from and moving-to locations, after which the platform provides a price estimate in about 30 seconds. For man and van services, the price is calculated by the hour, with the option to add a helper if extra hands are needed. For full removals, customers can request a custom quote; packing and larger crews are available through independent removals firms.

The booking process involves three steps: first, customers provide details about the move, including property type, lift availability, floor number, property size, postcodes, and moving date; second, they submit contact information; and third, they receive confirmation after a quick review. The platform also allows customers to upload a video walkthrough or photos to help recommend the right van size and provide an accurate quote.

Services Offered

• Man & van: One van and a local driver, priced by the hour, with the option to add a helper.
• Full removals: A whole home moved by an independent removals firm, with packing and larger crews available.

The platform also provides a van size calculator and a storage unit size calculator as useful tools for customers.
