Direct Carpet Co

Direct Carpet Co: carpet supply and fitting across West Yorkshire

Direct Carpet Co is a family-run flooring business based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, that supplies and fits floor coverings for both single-room upgrades and full property renovations. The company states it has been trading since 1924 and describes its offer as British-made products at competitive prices, with a service built around free home visits, free measuring and advice matched to the customer's budget.

Its range is organised around four main lines: carpets, vinyl and LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile), rugs, mats and runners, and laminate or wood flooring. The company says it buys directly from manufacturers, which it presents as the basis for its pricing.

Choosing flooring at home

A central part of the service is the home visit. Staff assemble samples of possible floor coverings and bring them to the customer's home so the choice can be made against the room's existing décor and in the customer's own time. The visit is arranged for a time that suits the client and is described as free, with no obligation to buy and no additional costs. Measuring and a quotation are included in the same process.

The company also invites customers to its showroom, where it says hundreds of styles are on display, and to borrow sample books to take home. Free expert advice is offered at that stage.

Fitting and after-sales stance

Installation is carried out by what the company describes as accredited, fully trained fitters, and it backs the work with a stated 100% satisfaction guarantee. Its presentation stresses politeness and a service it hopes customers would recommend to friends and family. The company reports a review score of 4.9 out of 5 based on the reviews available at the time of writing this profile.
