Tyersal Skip Hire

Tyersal Skip Hire: three decades of skip hire and waste management in Bradford

Tyersal Skip Hire is a family-run skip hire and waste management business based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The company states it has supplied skips to trade and domestic users for more than 30 years. It was originally founded by Jack and Joe Stephenson and later passed down to their sons, and it presents itself as a cheap and reliable operator in its local market.

Skips for trade and domestic customers

The service is aimed at both commercial and household clients. The company lists mini, midi and maxi skips among the sizes it can supply, so customers can choose a container suited to the volume of waste they need to remove. Alongside the containers themselves, it offers same-day drop and pickup, which allows a skip to be delivered and collected within the same working day.

Own licensed waste transfer station

A distinctive part of the operation is that Tyersal Skip Hire runs its own licensed waste transfer station. Domestic and trade waste brought back from jobs is sorted there and sent on to the appropriate recycling facility. The company states that the majority of the skips it supplies are recycled on site, which it links to keeping costs down, reducing the amount sent to landfill and lowering its carbon footprint. This in-house sorting capacity is presented as central to how the business keeps its service affordable.

Additional waste services

Beyond standard skip hire, the company mentions other practical services:

• Permit advice for customers who need to place a skip on public land.
• Tyre disposal.
• Professional guidance on recycling.

These complement the core hire offer and address common questions that arise when arranging waste removal.

The areas it lists include Bradford, Pudsey, Bingley, Idle, Queensbury, Shipley, Thackley, Farsley, Odsal and Tong, with same-day drop off and collection available in several of these locations. The company also refers to serving Bingley, Shipley, Pudsey and Farsley with its wider range of professional waste management services.
