Plumbflex Plumbing and Heating Supplies

Plumbflex, an online catalogue for plumbing and heating supplies

Plumbflex Plumbing and Heating Supplies operates as an online retailer of plumbing, heating and water-treatment products. Its catalogue is organised around several broad families: tools, water pumps, water treatments, plastic plumbing parts, bathroom replacement parts, plumbing supplies, heating, and kitchen equipment. The store presents itself as a source for both plumbers and DIY users, and its range combines own-brand listings with products from established manufacturers.

Water treatment and softeners

One of the areas the site develops most is water treatment. The catalogue lists water softeners, water conditioners, scale reducers, limescale inhibitors, water filtering and water tests. Among the softeners featured are the Monarch Midi HE Water Softener Ultimate Series, supplied with 15mm hoses and 10 kg of salt, and the Great Water Pro 1400 and Pro 2300 models. The site indicated 27 products in the water softeners section at the time of writing this profile.

Pumps and plumbing components

The pump section covers main pumps, water accumulators, booster pumps, submersible pumps and swimming pool pumps. Alongside these, the plastic plumbing range includes wastes and traps, waste pipes and fittings, MDPE pipes and fittings, and guttering. The plumbing supplies category adds stopcocks, flexible hoses, consumables and brassware, while garden taps also appear as a separate line.

Tools for pipework and installation

Tools form another substantial part of the offer. The catalogue groups storage, pipe cutters and benders, soldering and brazing equipment, water pump pliers, wrenches and spanners, test and detection equipment, screwdrivers and fixings, hand tools and drilling equipment. Brand ranges include Rothenberger, Nerrad Tools, C.K Tools, Silverline, ToolZone, Sievert, Pica and Timco, among others. Specific listings include the Rothenberger 80280 Multibender for 15 and 22mm pipe, the Rothenberger TP25 pressure testing pump, the Nerrad Tapex tap wrench kit and the Nerrad Pro copper tube cutter packs in 15mm and 22mm.

Heating, bathroom and kitchen lines

In heating, the store lists heating controls, radiator valves, heating filters, heating chemicals, heating accessories, underfloor heating and radiators. Chemical and filter products from Fernox and Scalemaster appear in the catalogue, such as the Fernox TF1 Compact Filter, the Fernox DS-3 limescale remover and the Scalemaster Condensemaster condensate neutraliser. The bathroom replacement parts section covers toilet seats, cisterns and cistern spares, showers and shower spares, bathroom accessories, and tap spares. For kitchens, the range includes waste disposers, boiling water units and kitchen taps, with Insinkerator products such as instant hot water tanks and water filters.

Brands and delivery terms

The site states that it works with a variety of brands to build its plumbing and heating selection, and it displays a brand index that also includes Polypipe, Croydex, Fluidmaster, Grundfos, Honeywell Home, Stuart Turner, Thomas Dudley, Warmup, Heatmiser, Drayton, Oracstar, Scalemaster and Fernox. Orders over £50 qualify for free shipping, according to the store's own delivery terms, and the returns policy allows 30 days for a change of mind. Prices are shown in pounds sterling, with a currency selector for other currencies.

Customer feedback shown on the site

The homepage displayed short customer comments praising fast shipping, friendly service and competitive prices, including one referring to next-day delivery of a Rothenberger product. These are individual testimonials presented by the store rather than an aggregate rating.
