ATCO Lawnmowers

ATCO, a British lawnmower brand within the STIGA Group

ATCO sells lawnmowers and garden power equipment through its own online shop. The company presents its mowers as machines designed specifically for British gardens, and its catalogue spans roller mowers, four-wheel mowers, ride-on tractors and garden care tools. The brand operates as part of the STIGA Group, and the site's legal footer identifies STIGA Limited as the company behind the shop.

The range is organised around three large families: lawnmowers, ride-ons and garden care, each with its own subcategories and a parallel section for accessories and spare parts.

Mowers: petrol, cordless and roller models

Within lawnmowers, the shop separates cordless and petrol machines, and adds a specific roller mower line that is also split between cordless and petrol versions. The catalogue lists self-propelled and collecting models, and some machines combine collecting, mulching and rear discharge in a single unit.

Among the products highlighted on the site at the time of writing this profile were the Classic 16S petrol lawnmower, with a 300 m² mowing area, self-propelled drive and collecting, mulching and rear discharge cutting methods, listed at £309.00, and the LINER 16S Li Kit cordless mower, also self-propelled with a 300 m² mowing area and collecting cutting, priced at £629.00. Both appeared marked as available soon.

Ride-on garden tractors

The ride-on section covers petrol garden tractors and battery garden tractors. The featured model in this group was the GT 43HR petrol garden tractor, with a 6,000 m² mowing area, side discharge cutting and a 108 cm cutting width. Its price was shown as a special offer of £2,399.00 against a regular price of £2,619.00, a saving of £220.00, also marked as available soon.

Beyond the tractors themselves, the shop lists front mowers and a galvanised Pro Cart accessory for front cut ride-on mowers. The cart can also be used as a wheelbarrow, has a folding tow hook to reduce storage space, a 50-100 kg capacity, 680 l capacity, 406 mm wheels and a one-year warranty from the purchase date, at £706.00 including VAT.

Garden care, accessories and spare parts

The garden care line comprises strimmers and brushcutters. The accessories and spare parts sections are structured by machine family, covering batteries and chargers, strimmers and brushcutters, lawnmowers, ride-ons and front mowers, so that owners can find components for their specific equipment.

Buying, delivery and after-sales support

The online shop states free shipping on orders above £90 and free delivery only on selected models. It also advertises a White Glove Service described as premium delivery, and payment through Klarna under the formula of paying later, alongside Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and PayPal.

ATCO offers a five-year warranty on all mowers, according to its own promotional message. Product registration is available so that buyers can receive news and related benefits, and the site includes a dealer locator to find the nearest dealer in the UK. Support content covers warranty and after-sales service, orders and returns, WEEE waste and battery disposal, and REACH information.

Guides and lawn care content

The site publishes a lawnmower buying guide, hints and tips, a gardening calendar and a blog with seasonal lawn care articles, such as a January piece on preparing the lawn for spring. It also includes a tool that lets users draw the outline of their garden on a map to measure the area and identify suitable products.
