iQ Coaches

Coach and minibus hire from Birmingham across the UK

iQ Coaches is a coach hire company based in Birmingham that describes itself as specialising in transportation services throughout the UK. Its stated operating area centres on journeys to and from the West Midlands, with destinations offered across the country. The company presents safety, flexibility and pricing as the pillars of its service, and points to background-checked drivers as a distinguishing feature of its operation.

Journey types and booking process

The company's journey planner structures quotes around several formats: one way, return on a different day, same-day return, one way with multiple stops and return with multiple stops. The form collects pickup and end-destination addresses, intermediate stops, pickup and return dates and times, passenger numbers and luggage volume, which is classified as no luggage, small day bags, medium (10kg suitcases or hand luggage) or large (20kg suitcases).

Bookings also record whether a toilet is required on the coach, with the options not sure yet, yes or no. A free-text field allows additional notes or special requirements, and the enquiry asks for name, email and phone number before submission.

Purposes of travel covered

The quote form lists the reasons for travel the company handles. These include airport transfers, business and corporate travel, day trips, weddings, funerals, stag dos, hen dos, nights out, festivals, football and other sport events, theme parks, educational trips, charity runs, cruises, concerts, horse racing and other events. This range indicates a mixed clientele of private groups, schools, corporate customers and event organisers rather than a single market segment.

Drivers and service approach

According to the company, all drivers undergo extensive background checks, including DBS verification. It also states that it adapts to last-minute bookings and scheduling changes, and that its pricing is positioned as competitive without compromising service quality. The company frames customer satisfaction around prompt, professional and friendly assistance from the initial enquiry through to the end of the journey.

Licensing and company details

The site lists a Public Service Vehicle Operators Licence under number PD2067676, the reference that appears alongside the company's Birmingham address and contact details. The company is registered at 539 Hob Moor Road, Birmingham, B25 8TH.
