About V Immigration

IAA-regulated immigration advice from Birmingham and London

V Immigration is a UK immigration advisory practice regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority at Level 1. It is led by principal adviser Vishal Gautam, and the firm states that its own team came to the UK on student visas and went through the system personally, which shapes the plain-English way it explains procedures to clients. The practice works on two fronts: private individuals and families on one side, and UK employers holding or seeking a sponsor licence on the other.

Fees are presented as fixed and agreed in writing before any work begins, and the firm says it sets out what it will do, what it will cost and roughly how long it will take before payment. Where a case requires an appeal, a judicial review or a higher level of advice than the firm is authorised to give, it states that it says so immediately and refers the matter on.

Family, partner and dependent routes

For individuals and families, the service covers joining or staying with a partner, children or parents in the UK. The catalogue of routes includes spouse visas, fiancé(e) visas, unmarried partner visas, parent visas, adult dependent relative applications and child dependant visas, alongside the UK Ancestry Visa.

The firm publishes a route map illustrating how a partner-based case typically progresses: a spouse visa of up to 33 months when applied for from outside the UK, or 30 months if the applicant is already in the country; an extension of up to 30 months requiring the requirements to be met again; settlement after five years, with time spent as a fiancé(e) not counting towards that period; and British citizenship as soon as ILR is held for those married to a British citizen, or usually twelve months after ILR otherwise. The firm notes that these timelines reflect the Immigration Rules as at 9 October 2026 and that planned changes to settlement are not yet in the Rules.

Work, study and visitor visas

The work-related offering spans the Skilled Worker visa, the Scale-up Worker visa and the Global Business Mobility family, which the firm breaks down into Senior or Specialist Worker, UK Graduate Trainee, UK Expansion Worker, UK Service Supplier and UK Secondment Worker routes. Temporary Worker routes covered include the UK Seasonal Worker Visa and the Youth Mobility Scheme. Entrepreneur and talent options listed are the Innovator Founder visa, Global Talent visa and High Potential Individual visa.

Study and short-stay categories are also handled: Student visa, UK Child Student Visa and Graduate visa, plus visitor visas for standard visits, family visits, marriage, medical treatment, short-term study and business. On the EU side, the practice covers the EU Settlement Scheme, EU Settlement Family Permit, settled status and pre-settled status.

Sponsor licences and compliance for employers

For employers, V Immigration applies for the licence matching the workers a business needs — Skilled Worker, Temporary Worker, Global Business Mobility or Expansion Worker — and then supports day-to-day management of the licence on the Sponsor Management System, including assigning certificates of sponsorship, reporting duties and records, and key personnel changes.

Compliance work covers right to work checks, mock audits and risk reviews, and HR processes and staff training, with the stated aim of preparing clients for a possible Home Office compliance visit. The firm also assists where a licence has been refused or revoked, and with administrative review support.

How a case is handled

The practice describes a four-stage process for both private and business clients. It begins with a free first ten minutes by phone, email or contact form, used to direct the enquiry to the appropriate consultation. Advice then follows online, by phone or in Birmingham or London, reviewing the client's history and setting out the routes that fit and the evidence required. If the client wants the firm to handle the case, scope and a fixed fee are agreed in writing before work starts. The final stage covers document checking, preparation and submission of the application, updates until a decision, and an explanation of options if the application is refused. For employers, the same stage includes preparation for a possible Home Office visit and support after licensing.

The firm states that it replies to every enquiry within 48 hours and describes more than 20 visa and settlement routes in its service range.

Offices and consultations

The practice lists three office addresses: Lewis Building, 35 Bull Street, Birmingham B4 6AF; 35 New Broad Street, London EC2M 1NH; and 125 Deansgate, Manchester M3 2BY. The London and Manchester locations operate by appointment only. Consultations are offered online, by telephone or in Birmingham or London.

Client feedback and published guidance

The site carries testimonials from company directors describing sponsor licence applications handled without delays and with clear communication, including comments from Aidan Tjinakiet of Chi Street Food Ltd, Anant Ram of Delight of India and Lamen Reddy of Reddy Foods Ltd. The firm also publishes free guides and insights, among them a Sponsor Management System guide, a walkthrough of the £29,000 income requirement for spouse visas, a note on the Graduate visa period of 18 months for most applications from 1 January 2027, and guidance on preparing a sponsor licence for a Home Office compliance visit.
