Kinetic MSK

Kinetic MSK, a musculoskeletal and physiotherapy clinic in Bedfordshire

Kinetic MSK presents itself as Bedfordshire's leading musculoskeletal (MSK) and physiotherapy clinic. Its multidisciplinary team brings together physiotherapists, sports and rehabilitation therapists, and a strength and conditioning coach, with the stated aim of providing high-quality care to all patients. The clinic frames its audience broadly: from the weekend warrior to the elite athlete.

The service is organised around sports injury management. According to the clinic, the team has the skill set and facilities to accompany a patient from the initial pain or trauma through to competition, with the goal of returning them to peak performance. Lower back pain, ankle sprains and shoulder pain are among the issues it cites explicitly.

From athletic roots to a wider patient base

The clinic explains that it initially worked primarily with the athletic population, specialising in sports injuries. Over time, its stated skill set has allowed it to work with a wide range of demographics and sports. Kinetic also reports access to rehabilitation and strength and conditioning equipment, which it says is used alongside its expertise to help patients return to pre-injury performance levels and, in its words, to better those levels.

Assessment, treatment and performance work

The services listed by the clinic cover several areas of practice:

• Functional Movement Screening
• Manual Therapy
• Rehabilitation
• Strength and Conditioning
• Kinesiology taping
• Corporate Health & Wellness

An injection pathway is also named in the site's navigation, alongside online programmes and a blog. Appointments can be booked and paid for online, and the clinic offers the option of contacting the team beforehand to discuss a problem.

Two clinic locations

Kinetic MSK operates from two sites. The first is at 13 Kempston High Street, Kempston, MK42 7BT. The second is Kinetic MSK Club Towers on Clapham Road in Bedford, MK41 6EL. Both are listed together with the single phone number 01234 814694.

Reputation as presented by the clinic

The clinic points readers to five-star reviews on TrustPilot rather than asking them to take its word for it. It summarises its approach with the phrase "Helping you, help yourself".
