Scenery for model villages and railways

CB Models designs and sells miniature scenery for model railways, dioramas and model villages. Its online catalogue is arranged by scene and by scale, allowing hobbyists to find parts that match an existing layout. The business says its models are designed and built in the United Kingdom and also operates an in-person store in Barnstaple.

Scenes and scales

Categories cover construction sites, garages, industrial spaces, military scenes, parks, roads and streets. The scale list includes OO, O, N, HO and G gauges as well as numerical scales used in other model-making. Example items include security fencing, warehouse racking, pallets, coal sacks and picnic benches. A buyer should check the stated scale and whether an item is assembled or needs painting before ordering; a realistic object in the wrong scale will not fit a planned scene.

Store services and buying details

The Barnstaple store lists in-store three-dimensional scanning and printing, while the website also carries pre-owned diecast models, model kits and radio-control items. The published address is at St John's Garden Centre, St John's Lane, Barnstaple. Customers can browse reviews and contact the shop for product questions. A promotion on multiple-item purchases appears on the site but may change, so the basket total is the current price. Customers should confirm opening times before travelling to the Barnstaple store.
