Itus Security Systems Ltd: alarms, CCTV and access control in Barnoldswick

Itus Security Systems Ltd is a security installer based at Unit G, Vicarage Business Park in Barnoldswick. The company presents itself as a provider of home and business security, and its catalogue of work covers intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and door entry, networking and cabling, garage shutter doors and fire safety services. A recurring element across its offer is the takeover of systems installed by others: the firm states that it installs, services and takes over existing security systems.

Intruder alarms and CCTV

The alarm line covers new installations as well as repair and maintenance of existing systems. For CCTV, the company describes complete solutions that range from a brand-new installation to repairs on a current setup or the takeover of an existing one. Both services are presented under the same logic of accompanying the customer from the initial installation through to servicing.

Access control, door entry and network infrastructure

Access control and door entry systems are offered with installation, maintenance and takeover of existing setups, with the stated aim of keeping operation smooth and secure. Behind these systems, the company also installs, upgrades and maintains networking and cabling infrastructure, a service it frames as the base on which the rest of the security equipment runs.

Commercial security and fire safety

For businesses, Itus Security Systems positions itself beyond installation, managing, maintaining and taking over systems to keep a business protected over the long term. Fire safety services and garage shutter doors complete the range of services listed on the site. The company also indicates that it offers PAT testing.

Company background and leadership

The firm states that it has more than ten years of experience in the sector and that it was created with customers' needs in mind, with the aim of making security accessible. Since 2023 the company has been led by Shaun Thompson, described as a local professional, who holds the position of company director.
