Nirro Ltd: VW Group used parts and workshop in Essex and East London

Nirro Ltd is an independent British company dedicated exclusively to vehicles of the Volkswagen Group: Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Seat. Its activity combines the sale of genuine recycled parts with a workshop for servicing, diagnostics and bodyshop work. The company states that it has been working with these four makes for over 25 years, and that it does not handle any other brand.

Its two sites are an Essex branch in Ongar and an East London branch in Barking. The Ongar site has a recently opened workshop, presented as brand new and equipped to attend to all VW Audi Group vehicles, including electric models.

Recycled parts from late, low-mileage vehicles

The parts side of the business is based on dismantling and recycling all Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda and Audi models. According to the company, most of its stock comes from late, low-mileage vehicles acquired through contracts with insurance companies and vehicle hire firms. The parts offered are described as premium-quality genuine recycled components, with prices the company presents as up to 75% below the recommended retail price.

Servicing and diagnostics with manufacturer-level information

The workshop works exclusively on the four VW Group makes. Nirro states that it uses up-to-date diagnostic equipment and has access to current repair manuals, software updates and technical service bulletins supplied directly by the manufacturers. On that basis, the company presents its staff and equipment as comparable to a main dealer, without main-dealer pricing.

The company reports that more than 200 vehicles pass through its workshop each month, and that this volume means it rarely encounters a problem it has not seen before. It also highlights its experience with electric vehicles, supported by what it describes as state-of-the-art workshop equipment at the Ongar facility.

Alongside parts sales and servicing, Nirro lists bodyshop work among its specialities. The Ongar branch is presented as offering full workshop facilities for all VW Audi Group vehicles, covering the range of work the company carries out on these models.

A note on impersonation attempts

The company has published a warning about scams on social media in which third parties use its name and logo to pose as Nirro Ltd. It states that no purchases should be made from Nirro through social media, and that parts should be ordered by telephone through either branch or through its eBay shop. It also asks anyone affected by such scams to call its office.
