ReaperWare

ReaperWare: sim racing peripherals designed and hand-built in the UK

ReaperWare is a British manufacturer of hardware for home racing simulators. The company states that every product is designed, manufactured and hand-assembled in the UK, with enclosures machined from genuine Perspex® cast acrylic and custom electronics developed in-house. Its catalogue is aimed at sim racers who want to expand the controls and displays of their cockpit, and the brand indicates that it ships worldwide.

The range is organised into several families: the SimDash series of USB displays and DDUs, the RaceConsole button boxes, universal plug-and-play button boxes, the iFlag series, Stream Deck enclosures, and accessories and mounts. The company also maintains sections for setup and downloads and for support and contact.

SimDash displays and DDUs

The SimDash line consists of USB displays and DDU units created specifically for sim racing, offered in different sizes and configurations. ReaperWare describes them as fully customisable and SimHub compatible, intended to add both immersion and functionality to a simulator. A separate SimDash Brow Kit appears among the products the shop lists as top sellers.

RaceConsole button boxes

The RaceConsole series is presented as a companion for a sim racing rig, with button boxes intended to cover different scenarios. Depending on the model, RaceConsoles can incorporate Elgato Stream Deck integration, VoCore displays or iFlag matrix displays. The company states that all of them are fully SimHub compatible. One example in the catalogue is the RaceConsole Podium-UW.

Universal button boxes and the iFlag series

ReaperWare's button boxes are designed to add functions and immersion to a home simulator. According to the company, they are plug and play in Windows, requiring no drivers or additional software. Units are built to order and offered in a broad range of colour options; the brand positions them as a universal solution for racing, flight, space or truck simulators. The 32-Elite Button Box is listed among the best-selling units.

The iFlag series is a separate product family built around flag indicators. The shop's top-seller list includes the iFlag, and the company notes that Chilli Red is its best-selling iFlag colour. Other enclosure finishes shown in the presentation include Midnight Black, Arctic Blue, Citrus Yellow and Opal Frost, combined with different LED button and switch configurations.

Construction, customisation and warranty

The company emphasises the internal engineering of its products: custom-designed PCBs and electronics developed entirely in-house, with attention to long-term reliability, performance and ease of service. Enclosures are CNC-machined from Perspex® cast acrylic and edge-polished, and each unit is soldered and assembled by hand. ReaperWare presents this approach as a guarantee of structural rigidity, strength and durability.

Customisation is offered at no extra cost. Buyers can choose enclosure colours, LED options and tactical toggle switch covers, and the layout can be altered, for example by replacing the engine start/stop button with an additional heavy-duty toggle switch. The company also states that each batch incorporates refinements in design, manufacturing and production.

Every unit is covered by a two-year warranty, and the company mentions seven-day-a-week support and free returns. It also advertises 24/7 support and fast dispatch alongside worldwide shipping.
