Original art from independent artists

ArtGallery.co.uk brings together work by independent artists in an online collection. Visitors can browse paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, prints, mosaics, ceramics and mixed-media pieces. The site is designed for people looking for an artwork for a home or office, and it also gives artists a route to present and sell their work.

Browsing by medium, style and subject

The collection has separate filters for watercolour, oil, acrylic, pastel, digital art and other media. Style choices include abstract, impressionistic, realistic, expressionistic and illustrative work. Subject browsing covers landscapes, people, animals, architecture, plants and cityscapes. Featured artist pages help buyers see more than a single item: the site introduces Fiona J Rose, Simona Nedeva, Peter Nottrott and Paul Ashton among its highlighted artists, with an explanation of each artist's approach.

From discovery to purchase

Listings show the artist, medium and price for individual pieces; some works may be marked sold or offered at a reduced price. A buyer should check the current listing for size, framing, delivery and availability before ordering, since these vary from piece to piece. The platform also offers gift vouchers and information for artists who want to sell. Its blog and themed collections provide ways to discover work beyond a keyword search, including selections by budget or room.
