Gwendon is a self-catering holiday home in a quiet semi-rural cul-de-sac a short walk from Amlwch, the historic copper kingdom town and port on the north coast of Anglesey. The property looks out over the Irish Sea from the front and across Bull Bay from a patio at the top of the garden. It sits close to the Anglesey Coastal Path, with a hidden sandy cove reachable at low tide, and the A5025 is nearby for drives across the island and into North Wales.

The bungalow and its setting

The cottage is described as Scandi-inspired, with high-quality fittings and hotel-quality beds. It accommodates six guests in two double bedrooms and a single room with adult-sized bunks. The lounge and dining area face the sea, and a garden-top patio overlooks Bull Bay. Outside, a large enclosed south-facing garden is available for guests and their dogs, and the property has off-road parking for two or three cars plus a dedicated 7kWh EV charger. Fast free WiFi is provided.

Dogs welcome

Gwendon accepts multiple dogs free of charge. The owners, who are dog owners themselves, describe the enclosed garden as a haven for play and relaxation. A 'Woof Wall' celebrates the dogs that have stayed, and the site invites guests to upload photos of their dogs.

The site lists prices from £625 per week. It offers two-night flexible stays in low season and seven-night stays in peak season, along with weekend breaks from Friday to Monday and midweek stays from Monday to Friday.
