One Chun brings together Phuket family cooking and retro décor in a 19th-century building on Thep Krasattri Road. Recipes have passed through three generations. The setting fits a meal rooted in the old town, where trading history and culinary traditions meet within a few streets.

Two dishes offer contrasting starting points: mu hong, with tender, deeply flavoured pork belly, and boiled shrimp with shrimp paste, combining chilli heat with salty and sour notes. Sharing both is a useful way to compare the richness of the pork with a livelier seafood preparation.
