In Rainier Valley, WorkSource does not promise an immediate hire; it offers tools, guidance and connections that can support a job search. The Rainier site is an affiliate of WorkSource Seattle-King County, not a comprehensive centre with every partner in the building. That status helps explain why some questions lead to referrals. To avoid getting stuck in a chain of calls, ask which organisation will handle your case and how you will know it has received your information.
The state network offers computers, internet, phones and help with résumés, applications and job preparation; staff may answer general questions about benefits, but WorkSource does not complete an unemployment application for you. The local centre says most, though not all, employment and training services are available onsite. Before visiting, call and explain what you need: an immediate job, training, computer access or a question about an unemployment claim. Each may have a different contact route.
Public reviews report different outcomes: one person says they did not receive help finding part-time work or training, while another says the centre helped with identification, a résumé, training and clothing. A third complains about unanswered calls. These are individual accounts, not case records or an official investigation. They do suggest keeping a record of each attempt: note the date and time, staff member’s name, service requested and any promised response or referral. If it does not happen, ask the person responsible at the centre to review your case.
Washington has WorkSource System Policy 1012 for customer concerns and programme complaints. The state framework says concerns should first be handled locally; formal complaints about covered programmes must follow the applicable written procedure. The policy requires local procedures and follow-up, but an online review does not necessarily start that process. If you allege discrimination, use WorkSource’s specific equal-opportunity route; it is not the channel for an ordinary delay or missed call.
WorkSource Rainier is at 2531 Rainier Avenue South. It is open Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; call (206) 721-6000 or TTY (206) 721-5986. See WorkSource Rainier and ask which services are handled there and which are referred elsewhere. To assess whether the network is meeting its duties, compare the written commitment, your documented history and the formal response; a rating or one review cannot settle the question.

Along Rainier Avenue, WorkSource Rainier combines a computer resource room and career guidance with King County’s employment network.
