Gunn Park completes the route outdoors. The city describes roughly 6.5 miles of trails through timber and along the Marmaton, shared by hikers, runners and mountain bikers. A shorter walk can fit naturally between cultural visits; there is no requirement to cover the network in full. The park’s lakes and recreation areas add another view of local life, giving Fort Scott a landscape chapter alongside its museums.
