Where to find fairly priced sushi in Caudéran, western Bordeaux

Caudéran is a different choice from Bordeaux around Place de la Bourse and the Garonne quays. To the west, the sector retains a residential identity: it was an independent commune until 1957 and is still recognised through local centres around squares, shops and the church of Saint-Amand. The city counts it among its eight large administrative neighbourhoods. Japanese restaurants here are spread along avenues rather than gathered into a tourist strip, and the addresses on Avenue d’Eysines, Général Leclerc and Louis Barthou call for choosing one branch based on proximity, not planning a walking route between all three.

For sushi with a more predictable price, Sushi Fan lists full menus from €14.50 to €19, plus sashimi, bento, maki and rolls, with delivery and collection. Sushi Soleil offers individual sets from €12.50, chirashi and platters for two or three, alongside hot dishes and online ordering. Sushi Création – Caudéran adds a lunch menu from €13.50 and a broad menu of poke, skewers, gyoza and sushi. These are the prices listed when the menus were checked and may change.

Google comments add different shades: Sushi Fan receives praise for freshness, welcome and prices; Sushi Soleil for portions, speed and service; and Sushi Création for service and value, although one isolated takeaway-order issue appears. No set of reviews can promise the same experience every time. We found no confirmed restaurant-only parking at any of the three. Bordeaux says Caudéran has regulated parking and provides a public-garage map; check current fees and limits. Plan your return at night and choose transport according to your route: making a blanket safety claim for the entire neighbourhood without street- and time-specific data would be misleading.
