Drivers in Iowa City have a clear choice to make before pulling in: whether they want brushes to touch the vehicle, whether they want to finish the cabin themselves, and whether a monthly pass fits their routine. Hawk Wash offers touch-free and soft-touch automatics alongside self-service, truck and RV bays. Club Car Wash has two separate Iowa City addresses—one on IA-1 and another on US-6—with a shared express-tunnel menu and membership program. The two Club entries below are different branches, not duplicate records for one location.
Choose the contact style before you choose the package
Hawk Wash is at 2590 Moss Ridge Rd., Iowa City, IA 52245, and is listed open 24 hours; call (319) 455-6357. Its wash bays let drivers choose touch-free, where no wash equipment contacts the paint, or soft-touch, where closed-cell foam sponges scrub stuck-on grime. Single washes are Basic ($10), Deluxe ($13), Premium ($16) and Ultimate ($18). The steps add undercarriage wash, wax and dryer, bug treatment and wheel blasters, then triple foam and tire shiners. The company also advertises self-service, truck and RV bays. It does not include interior cleaning with an automatic wash, but its FAQ says self-service vacuums are available. Customer comments appreciate the vehicle scan, touch-free option and usable self-service equipment; expect a possible short wait during busy periods.
Club Car Wash on IA-1: membership that travels
Club Car Wash at 1059 IA-1, Iowa City, IA 52246, lists (833) 416-9975 and hours of 7 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Sunday. Its current chain menu shows Rookie at $11 per wash or $24 monthly, VIP at $16/$30, Elite at $21/$36 and MVP at $26/$42. The upper tiers add features such as underbody cleaning, wheel brightener, lava hot wax and graphene protection; the menu also lists trained preps, microfiber towels, powerful vacuums and compressed air. A monthly membership allows unlimited washes and can be used at any Club Car Wash. Customers often point to the app and the ability to use more than one local branch as practical membership benefits.
Club Car Wash on US-6: a second address, same chain
The US-6 Club Car Wash is a separate branch at 985 US-6, Iowa City, IA 52240. It shares the company’s four-tier express wash menu and (833) 416-9975 customer line; the branch listing shows daily hours, with Sunday opening at 8 a.m. Because memberships work across Club locations, drivers can choose between the two addresses based on where they are going without buying a second pass. The chain’s menu describes a staffed prep before the conveyor and finish amenities such as towels and vacuums. Check the local sign or location details for any branch-specific hours and conditions before a visit.
Match the method to the car and your schedule
- For a brush-free wash or self-operated bay: Hawk Wash lists both touch-free and soft-touch automatic cycles, plus self-service equipment, around the clock.
- For a chain pass and an express tunnel: either Club Car Wash branch offers the company’s tier ladder and a membership valid at other locations.
- For the shortest decision at the pay station: compare Hawk Wash’s four single-wash prices before arriving; Club Car Wash publishes a parallel four-tier menu.
In customer comments, Hawk Wash’s vehicle scan and touch-free bay stand out for drivers who want the machine to adapt to the vehicle profile or want to avoid brushes; some mention a brief wait when the bay is busy. At Club, users value the mobile account and the ability to wash at different branches. These observations help set expectations, but the clearest comparison remains the method, package and price posted by each operator. Membership prices and inclusions can change, so check the current menu before joining.
