La Siesta Classic Ma May: make the Old Quarter your base
Ma May works particularly well when your Hanoi plans revolve around walking: exploring small streets, stopping for food and returning to a comfortable room. La Siesta adds two distinctive venues, Red Bean restaurant and Moonlight Sky Bar, whose raised walkway recreates Long Bien Bridge in miniature. It is an appealing option for a couple who want to enjoy the neighborhood and the hotel itself.
The observed official-site offer on Google Maps was USD 65 for one night for two guests, including taxes and fees. It offered free cancellation until September 18 but did not identify breakfast or the room category. Compare a Superior without an outward view with an Executive overlooking the rooftops before choosing: that difference may matter more to your stay than moving straight to a suite.

Hanoi Pearl: stay near Hoan Kiem without a large hotel budget
Hoan Kiem Lake is a useful reference point for a first Hanoi visit, and Hanoi Pearl's Bao Khanh address places it within that walking area. Its appeal is specific: traditional interiors, an on-site restaurant and an upper-floor lounge with lake views. The 32 m² Deluxe City View is worth considering if you would like the neighborhood to be part of the room experience too.
Agoda displayed USD 47 including breakfast, Wi-Fi, taxes and fees for the comparison night and two guests, the lowest amount among these three hotels. The offer did not specify the room category or cancellation conditions. Room names matter here: Romance Classic has no window and Deluxe Window has an internal one, so neither should be mistaken for a city-view room.

Tirant: a pool and neighborhood life on Gia Ngu
If time in the water is part of your holiday, Tirant offers a facility that changes how you use the hotel: a 35 m² outdoor rooftop pool. It is compact, but provides somewhere to unwind between outings in the busy city. The Gia Ngu location keeps the Old Quarter close, and Skyline Lounge offers another place to end the day.
Mytour displayed USD 92 including taxes and fees for two guests on the comparison dates. That offer did not identify breakfast, cancellation terms or room category. As a separate reference, Priceline showed USD 143 with breakfast and free cancellation until September 19. The pool is Tirant's main distinction from the other two options: if you will not use it, weigh the price difference against the room you actually want.

If the hotel itself should play a part in your break, La Siesta adds Red Bean and a distinctive rooftop design. Tirant makes more sense when you will genuinely use its pool, not simply because it looks appealing in photographs.
The most useful room upgrade may be as simple as exchanging an internal window for an outward view. Check that detail before paying for more space or a suite, and compare the plan's total with the breakfast and cancellation conditions you need.
