Maskay guide

Which Charlotte bars have big screens for Panthers, Hornets and soccer?

South End and Uptown offer different formats: a video wall, a patio by the stadium, and a full kitchen for dinner during the game.

In Charlotte, the choice depends on whether the game is the main event or part of a wider Uptown evening. South End concentrates bars and restaurants near the light-rail line; Uptown brings together the Panthers’ stadium, offices, hotels and concert venues. Blinders Sports Lounge prioritizes a massive video wall; Clutch Kitchen & Pour House sits beside the stadium; and Duckworth’s Uptown combines TVs with a full restaurant menu.

Blinders offers the most immersive setup: local reporting says its nearly 60-by-15-foot screen can split into as many as 24 games or become one large image. It is for guests aged 21 and over, takes group reservations and sets minimum spends depending on date and table. The menu includes wings, flatbreads, barbacoa nachos, tater-tot poutine and sliders. There is no dedicated parking, but the venue lists nearby garages and lots. Ask whether the game will have sound.

Clutch is steps from Bank of America Stadium and advertises more than 20 TVs across two floors, plus a dog-friendly patio. The location works for Panthers and Charlotte FC, although games and concerts can crowd the streets. The kitchen offers brunch, burgers, pizzas, wings, bowls and draft beer. For other sports, ask which channels are available and whether a watch party is planned.

Duckworth’s on North Tryon suits guests who want dinner with the game: its menu covers wings and salads, cheesesteaks, pizzas, burgers, entrées and desserts; the site says the full menu stays available until closing. Uptown Charlotte lists it as a place to watch games. For all three venues, check CATS and stadium-area parking restrictions, especially on game nights; confirm hours, channels and sound for your chosen date.
