In north Tampa, CareerSource Tampa Bay offers access to workshops, job-search help and training. It is not a placement agency that charges to provide a contact: the organisation works within the regional workforce network and lists free workshops, hiring events and skills support. For people restarting a search, it may help to combine a résumé session with a discussion about training and openings.
The Tampa Center is at 9215 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL 33612. Its official directory lists weekday service from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and (813) 930-7400. The calendar advertises in-person activities at this location; check whether a workshop requires registration and whether one-to-one guidance is by appointment. If you are seeking training funds, ask about eligibility before relying on assistance; funding is not automatic for every applicant.
Among the 208 reviews we checked, customers praise professional help and courses, while one complaint says a job seeker was turned away at about 3:30 p.m. even though the visible schedule ran until 5 p.m. The account raises a reasonable question about the service cutoff. It does not, by itself, prove a general policy of turning people away; some services may stop before the building closes. Call to confirm how late walk-ins are accepted and what service will still be available that day.
Florida publishes a complaint system for Employment Services or job referrals. CareerSource Tampa Bay also has its own process for complaints about education and training providers; that process has a specific scope and should not be confused with a complaint about reception at the office. If you are turned away, record the time, the service you requested and the explanation; contact the appropriate representative and include appointment or workshop confirmation if you have it.
