The Baltimore City Community College Foundation administers donor-funded scholarships for students at the city’s public community college. Its Completion Assistance Program helps with an application that may match a student to more than 30 scholarships. The BCCC Foundation profile brings together the official portal and contact details. Selection depends on each opportunity’s funding and criteria; admission to BCCC does not automatically qualify everyone for an award.
Criteria vary: the Foundation says many scholarships in its assistance program require a minimum 2.5 GPA, and some also consider financial need, major, or residence. Opportunities may include credit and continuing-education courses. Read each listing before applying and confirm that your enrollment, GPA, and program fit that particular scholarship.
Start by creating an account in the official AcademicWorks portal with BCCC credentials. It lists opportunities, criteria, deadlines, and whether a scholarship requires an additional response or uses an automatic match. The Foundation says one application can be considered for multiple awards; still, check your BCCC email regularly in case documents are requested or decisions are sent there.
When the page was checked on October 12, 2026, its posted Spring deadline was February 13, 2026, which had passed. The Foundation encourages applications each semester but does not list one universal date for the next cycle. Check the portal and email bcccfoundation@bccc.edu to confirm whether scholarships are active for fall or spring, which are open, and each deadline. Do not use dates from prior years as the current calendar.
Complete the FAFSA and pursue other aid as well; Foundation scholarships may supplement the financial-aid package but should not replace it. Ask Financial Aid how an award would apply to tuition, fees, books, or other charges and whether it can be combined with an outside scholarship. Keep copies of what you submit and share financial information only through the official site. The Foundation says meeting the criteria does not guarantee an award.
