CESIP is a non-profit organization dedicated to the defense of children's, adolescents' and young people's rights, with a focus on the prevention of violence and child labor.
About CESIP
Who are we?
CESIP is a non-governmental development organization, founded in 1976, committed to the full exercise of rights of children, adolescents and adult women. To this end, it promotes the overcoming of personal, institutional and social barriers, especially gender inequality, intervening in the development of personal and collective capacities, the institutionalization of mechanisms for promotion and protection, the articulation of programs, social and political influence, with the participation of different social actors.
Vision
CESIP aspires to a just, inclusive and democratic society, in which children, adolescents and adult women are recognized as rights holders. A society free of violence, respectful of differences of sex, age, ethnic origin, culture, identity/sexual orientation and ideology, in which people have access to opportunities, resources and capacities for the exercise of their citizenship, in harmony with the environment. A society with a secular state promoter and protector of rights, which acts with ethics, transparency and efficiency; and an active and vigilant civil society.
Mission
CESIP is a non-governmental development organization, founded in 1976, committed to the full exercise of rights of children, adolescents and adult women, promoting the overcoming of personal, institutional and social barriers that limit it. To this end, it intervenes in the development of personal and collective capacities, the institutionalization of mechanisms for promotion and protection, the articulation of programs and social and institutional actors, the influence at the local, regional and national levels. It systematizes and disseminates good practices, generates knowledge and information, and promotes the participation of different social actors.
