Who are we?

CENERGÍA is a pioneer in the development of activities for the efficient use of energy in Peru. It promotes the rational use and energy efficiency in the country, the substitution of energy sources for more efficient ones, the development of renewable energies, and the preservation of the environment.

What do we do?

• Energy Management: Energy demand management, Energy efficiency (electricity, natural gas, and others), quality of electrical energy, advisory on tariff contracts, cogeneration.
• Energy Planning and Regulation: Integrated resource planning and studies for the regulation of energy tariffs.
• Promotion of Renewable Energies: The use of renewable energies for energy supply is increasing, particularly in rural and isolated areas of the country.
• Environmental Studies and Sustainable Development: Environmental impact assessment, environmental quality, environmental management plans, environmental legislation.
• Special Projects: Technical Cooperation Projects, Training, Seminars and Workshops, Courses.

• Environmental Studies: Environmental studies and evaluation of mitigation measures for emissions in energy production and usage activities.
• Renewable Energy: Studies for the promotion and use of renewable energies.
• Energy Regulation: Efficient use of electrical energy and fuel in the sectors: industrial, mining, residential, public and services.
• Efficient Use of Energy: Training and dissemination of information on new technologies for energy development and efficient use.
