Who Are We?

Sagrado Corazón of Jesus Missionary Company is a religious institution dedicated to missionary work, accompaniment to indigenous peoples and promotion of missionary vocations. Our motivation is to bring the love that has been given to us to communities in situations of marginality and far from urban centers.

What Do We Do?

• Missionary work among indigenous peoples such as Awajún-Wuampis, Shawi, Cocama-Cocamilla, Shiwilo and Shipibo-Conibo.
• Formation and accompaniment for people seeking a missionary vocation.
• Support for missionary experience, including religious decision and formation on the missionary path.
• Publishing of testimonies and experiences of missionaries.
• Evangelization activities and accompaniment through the community.
• Collaboration with institutions and organizations such as SERVINDI, CAAAP, CONFER, Vigilante Amazónico, Compañía de Jesús, Red Internacional de Estudios Interculturales, and Grupo Internacional de Trabajo sobre Asuntos Indígenas.

In Peru and Around the World

Missionary presence extends both in Peru and other countries, with special focus on indigenous areas of the Amazon. In Peru, the main headquarters is located in the district of San Martín de Porres, in the city of Lima.

Are You Inspired?

We invite those who want to go in search of the most remote places, where no one wants to go, to live with them and bring them the love that has been given to us and is given to us. The missionary vocation is a call to share the charism and faith in contexts of need and challenge.
