Who We Are

Lima Vías Express S.A. (LVESA) is the company responsible for operating the Metropolitano mass transit system in Lima, connecting various points of the city. Our commitment is to offer a reliable, safe, and efficient service, managed under the standards of our Integrated Management System G.A.N.O.

We are a socially and family-responsible company, dedicated to the efficient and safe operation of mass passenger transport systems in the Metropolitano corridor. Our principles are inspired by the Caral civilization, focusing on a peaceful society, risk prevention, and knowledge generation.

Purpose

Excellence in the concession, with top-tier talent and technology. Execute and ensure the concession contract at the highest level with the best human and technological team to contribute to quality transportation. We base our work on operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and the use of advanced technology.

Integrated Management System G.A.N.O.

Operational excellence is managed through the Integrated Management System G.A.N.O. (Management for the Assurance of Our Operations), which integrates international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 39001, along with management principles based on risk control.

Our Fleet

We operate a fleet comprising trunk buses (articulated) and feeder buses, designed for mass transit and equipped with technology to ensure passenger safety and comfort. All units undergo rigorous preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Road Safety (ISO 39001)

We are committed to accident prevention through responsible driving, preventive maintenance, and compliance with regulations. We actively manage road risks and train our operators in defensive driving.

Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001)

We provide safe work environments, preventing occupational injuries and illnesses, in compliance with Law 29783.

Environmental Management (ISO 14001)

We identify and mitigate environmental impacts, promoting pollution prevention, efficient resource use (CNG), waste management, and respect for urban ecosystems.

We seek excellence in every trip, with standardized processes and competent staff, fostering continuous improvement.

News

In November 2025, LVESA obtained ISO 39001 certification in Road Safety for its Road Safety Management System, reaffirming its commitment to accident prevention and continuous improvement in Metropolitano operations.
