Overview

PRIMAX Perú renewed its commitment to environmental care and the well-being of its occupants by certifying its new corporate office on the 15th floor of the Panorama Plaza de Negocios building with LEED Silver certification for Commercial Interiors v4, awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council.

LEED Certification

The PRIMAX corporate office was rated in the LEED categories and credits implemented in the project, achieving LEED SILVER certification for Commercial Interiors v4. Additionally, PRIMAX offices on floors 9, 18, and 19 have achieved LEED Gold level certification in Commercial Interiors v3, and the Panorama Plaza de Negocios building has achieved Gold level LEED Core and Shell v3 or v2009 certification.

Green Educational Program

The PRIMAX corporate office has a green educational program that includes an informational poster, a landing page with information linked to the website, and a comprehensive LEED signage program. This program summarizes the sustainable features of the space, reducing health risks for occupants and contributing to the environment.

Sustainability measures implemented

The project incorporates multiple strategies in the following categories:

  • Location and transportation: Connection to public transportation (more than 2 stops and 4 bus lines), surrounding density and diverse uses (near 9 basic services), and access to traffic quality.
  • Water efficiency: Installation of efficient sanitary fixtures and kitchen faucets, achieving a reduction in potable water consumption.
  • Energy and atmosphere: Lighting with 43% savings, use of appropriate refrigerants, and 100% efficient appliances.
  • Materials and resources: Containers for recycling segregation, waste management plan, and diversion of more than 75% of construction waste.
  • Indoor air quality: Compliance with ventilation requirements, air purging before occupancy, and provision of natural lighting.
  • Innovation: Participation of a LEED accredited professional, green educational program, and environmental comfort survey.
  • Regional priority: Surrounding density, access to transportation, and reduction of water consumption.
