Who are we?

CEDEP is a center for studies dedicated to development and community participation. Its mission is to promote social change processes through research, education, and collective action in the department of Áncash, Peru.

Projects

CEDEP develops projects in different geographical areas of Áncash, including:

• Water management and agricultural production improvement project for small farmer families
• Interventions in communities such as Purhuay, Yúngar, Marcará, Chacas and Shupluy
• Works on bofedal fencing and water planting and harvesting

Publications

CEDEP produces studies, magazines, books, manuals, bulletins, brochures, and systematizations. Some of its publications include:

• Magazine Socialism and Participation
• Books and manuals on social policies
• Bulletins and brochures on local development topics
