Oceans & Rivers is a water resources engineering company that helps water stop being a risk and become an advantage for projects. We measure, model, and design water behavior to make investment viable, safe, and approved.

Real case: Las Bambas

With the El Niño alert declared, Las Bambas needed to anticipate water behavior in its five basins for summer 2024. Oceans & Rivers reconstructed 42 years of daily hydroclimatic data (1981–2023) and generated scenarios for rainfall, temperature, and flow. The mine entered the rainy season with quantified scenarios, and the 42-year database continues to feed its water decisions.
