Empire of Minis

Miniatures for painting and tabletop games

Empire of Minis is a Netherlands-based online shop for hobbyists who paint figures or use them in tabletop role-playing and wargames. It sells 3D-printed miniatures, display models and busts, alongside cast resin products. Its catalogue covers fantasy, science fiction, modern and historical subjects. A visitor can browse by the purpose of the figure, its scale and the sculptor or brand. Printed miniatures often arrive unpainted, so a product photograph may depict a finished example rather than the exact appearance of the item as delivered.

Characters, creatures and scenery

Tabletop sections classify figures by species and role, including humans, elves, dwarves, dragons, monsters, non-player characters and villains. There are also terrain and scenery items for building a gaming table or diorama. Miniatures are listed in scales such as 32 mm, while larger 54 or 75 mm models and busts serve display painters. Check scale, base size, number of pieces and any assembly requirements before buying; a figure intended for one game may need conversion or house rules to fit another.

Paints, brushes and workbench tools

The store has extensive hobby supplies, including acrylic and oil paints, inks, primers, airbrush products, brushes, basing textures, pigments, glue, putty and cutting tools. It lists makers such as Vallejo, AK Interactive, The Army Painter and Kimera Kolors. Beginners may prefer to start with a few paints, suitable brushes and primer rather than buying every specialised tool. Compare paint type with the surface and technique you plan to use, and check whether ventilation or cleaning equipment is needed for an airbrush setup.

Orders and help

Empire of Minis provides prices in euros, multiple language choices and shipping information for the Netherlands and other European destinations. Free-shipping thresholds appear on the site but depend on destination and can change. Before checkout, review whether a model is in stock, printed to order or part of a mystery selection; those conditions affect delivery and returns. The shop publishes an email, a Dutch telephone number and social messaging channels, including WhatsApp, for questions about compatibility, parts and orders.
