Mystery Publishers Limited

A publisher of African writing

Mystery Publishers Limited is an independent publisher based in Nakuru, Kenya. Its catalogue includes poetry, fiction, nonfiction, anthologies, paperbacks, ebooks and audiobooks, with an emphasis on African stories and authors. Readers can browse bestsellers, new releases and forthcoming titles through the online shop. The publisher also maintains author pages and news about book launches and writing. A listed title may be available in more than one format, so check the edition and delivery method before buying.

Publishing and editorial services

For writers, the business describes publishing packages, self-publishing support and submission guidelines. Its service menu includes manuscript evaluation, editing, ghostwriting, book design, cover and illustration work, ebook production, audiobook publishing and printing. These services serve different stages of a book project. An author should clarify what is included in a package, who retains rights, which revisions are covered and how distribution or royalties work before signing an agreement.

Books, authors and learning

The catalogue presents works by Kenyan and other African writers, including poetry collections and the Our Stories Redefined anthology series. The site also lists an academy and a Writing Lab for people developing their craft. Articles discuss writing, publishing and promotion. A new writer may find the submission guidelines more useful than a package price at first: they explain what material the publisher expects and how the review process begins. Readers seeking a specific author can search by name or title in the shop.
