Stowe Village Inn

Stowe Village Inn sits at 123 Mountain Rd beside the Little River, where the village center meets the road toward Stowe Mountain Resort. The family-owned property was renovated in 2022 and works as a useful middle ground for travelers who want village walkability while remaining on the direct route toward skiing, hiking and biking.

There are two distinct lodging styles on the same property. The historic Main Inn has interior-access boutique rooms with more decorative finishes, while the separate Modern Motel building offers simpler exterior-access rooms, some with kitchenettes. This gives guests a choice between a traditional inn atmosphere and a more practical, often less expensive motel format.

Shared spaces include a guest lounge, game and work areas, a veranda overlooking the river, a fire pit and seasonal lawn games. Grant's Bar & Restaurant serves dinner and drinks on site, built around an antique mahogany bar. The property does not currently serve a full breakfast, although coffee and tea are available.

Stowe Village Inn works well for couples, families and small groups who want to move easily between the village and Mountain Road. Guests should choose between the Main Inn and motel building based on the type of experience and room access they prefer.
