About B&G Food Enterprises

B&G Food Enterprises, LLC is a family-owned company founded in 1982 by Brenda and Gregory J. Hamer, Sr., when they received a Taco Bell franchise to operate a restaurant in Morgan City, Louisiana. Today, the company operates more than 230 Taco Bell restaurants in the southern United States, in the states of Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. It is the largest Taco Bell franchisee in Louisiana and maintains its corporate headquarters in Morgan City, Louisiana.

History

Since its beginnings, the company has grown significantly. In 1997, the founders received their first KFC franchise, and in 2011 they acquired their first Long John Silver's. Over the years, B&G was a franchisee of various brands such as KFC, Long John Silver's, A&W Root Beer, Pizza Hut, Dat Dog, and Teriyaki Express. Currently, the company operates exclusively Taco Bell restaurants. B&G has grown to provide livelihoods for more than 5,000 employees.

Leadership

Gregory J. Hamer, Sr. is the CEO of B&G. Before dedicating himself entirely to the company, he worked in the oil services industry for more than 20 years. He has held elected public offices at the city and parish level, and has participated in numerous boards and commissions. Brenda Hamer is the Corporate Secretary and the center of the family.

Locations

The Restaurant Support Center (RSC) is located in Morgan City, Louisiana, and handles the company's accounting, payroll, marketing, and communications. The restaurants are distributed across Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
