Arsenic & Old Lace Bed & Breakfast

Arsenic & Old Lace Bed & Breakfast is a small Queen Anne-inspired inn at 60 Hillside Ave in Eureka Springs' historic district. The wooded hillside setting provides a quieter atmosphere than Spring Street while remaining close enough to downtown for restaurants, galleries and sightseeing, with a nearby trolley stop useful for avoiding the city's steep grades.

There are only five individually decorated guest rooms and suites. Depending on the room, amenities can include king or queen beds, seasonal gas fireplaces, private balconies or patios, whirlpool or soaking tubs and multi-head spa showers. One ground-level suite offers a private entrance without stairs, an important option within a hilly historic town.

A complimentary three-course gourmet breakfast is a central part of the stay, generally combining fruit, house-baked breads and a changing sweet or savory main course. Homemade cookies, brownies or other treats are also available during the day, reinforcing the traditional hosted B&B experience.

The property is designed mainly for couples and quiet getaways and does not accept pets. On-site EV charging is a useful modern addition for road-trippers. Because there are only five rooms, reservations and cancellation policies tend to be more restrictive than at a large hotel.
