Who we are

Founded by Julie King (known as 'Momma King'), a Mexican immigrant who missed her food, the restaurant is run by women and family. It is not just any business: it is part of their home and each customer is welcomed as a friend.

History

The restaurant began in Woburn, Massachusetts, and later had a second location at a gas station in Beacon Hill, where it gained fame for its 'gas station burritos'. Since 2016, its main headquarters has been at 121 Water Street, Boston.
