Boston Public Market is an enclosed public market, open all year round, in the heart of downtown Boston. It features more than 30 farmers, fishermen, artisans, and food entrepreneurs from New England under one roof. It offers fresh food, prepared meals, crafts, specialty items, and local beverages.

The market is located at 100 Hanover Street, Boston, MA 02108, and also has a space in Terminal C of Logan Airport.

Mission

As a nonprofit organization, the Boston Public Market Association is a 'Market with a Mission' that seeks to celebrate the bounty of New England, support producers and entrepreneurs facing barriers to access, educate about the importance of a resilient and equitable food system, and cultivate a diverse community around food.

History

The Boston Public Market Association was formed in 2001 by a coalition of food lovers, producers, and state and local officials. After years of work, in 2011 the location on the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway, above the Haymarket MBTA station, was chosen as the site
