Cuthbert House

Cuthbert House is a historic waterfront inn at 1203 Bay St overlooking the Beaufort River. The house dates to 1790 and was moved to its current waterfront site in 1810; later chapters of its history include use during the Civil War and Victorian-era additions. Today it operates as an intimate ten-room boutique inn in the heart of Beaufort's historic district.

Rooms are individually designed and range from river-view suites to garden-level accommodations, blending preserved architectural details with modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi, mini-refrigerators, Nespresso machines, bathrobes and upgraded bath amenities. Some room categories offer particularly broad river views, while an accessible garden-level option is available for guests who need fewer architectural barriers.
