Who we are

Fundació Volem Feina is a private non-profit entity whose objective is to help people at risk of social exclusion through support that allows them to join active social and working life on equal terms. It develops productive economic activities and service provision, mainly in the environmental field and in personal services.

Social programs

• Job guidance and job bank: supports people in their job search through guidance and labor intermediation.
• Service for Homeless People (SAPSS): coverage of basic needs for homeless people in Solsona.
• S.O.C.I Project (Immigrant Citizen Guidance Service): support for people with irregular administrative status who are in vulnerable situations.
• Social delivery: delivery of materials to cover basic needs of vulnerable people or families.
• Helping beyond: donation of collected materials to NGOs that cooperate with third-world countries.

Services for people

• Transport and moving.
• Clearouts of apartments, premises and storage rooms.
• Adapted transport for people with reduced mobility, with home pickup and accompaniment to the day center.
• Management and transport of materials for public or private events.
• Three second-hand shops: Zona R (Castell Street, 32), Moda amiga and Magatzem Encants (both at Sant Jordi Avenue, 23, Solsona).

Environmental services

Through the Volem Feina Serveis Ambientals S.L. work integration company, they offer:

• Collection and management of bulky household waste.
• Collection and transport of industrial waste.
• Selective door-to-door waste collection.
• Management of recycling centers (clean points).
• Collection and sale of recovered clothing and second-hand items to give them a second life.
