OVHcloud's cloud and hosting catalogue for the Canadian market

OVHcloud presents itself as a provider of more than 80 open and reversible services, positioned around what it describes as the best price-performance ratio. Its Canadian-facing site, available in English with prices in Canadian dollars, organises the offer into four broad blocks: Public Cloud, Hosted Private Cloud, VPS and dedicated servers, and domain, hosting and email services.

Public Cloud: from containers to quantum

The Public Cloud section is built as a menu of infrastructure and platform components rather than a single product. It covers compute through virtual machine instances and GPU instances, including Nvidia H200, H100, L40S and L4 cards, plus a serverless option listed as coming soon. Container services include Managed Kubernetes, Managed Private Registry and Managed Rancher Service for multi-cluster and hybrid management.

Storage is split into Block Storage, File Storage, S3-compatible Object Storage and Cold Archive for long-term retention, alongside a backup service. Networking brings a private network (vRack), OVHcloud Connect for private links, public IP management, Floating IP, Bring Your Own IP and a Load Balancer. Managed databases listed are PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and Valkey.

Data and analytics tools include Data Platform, Kafka, ClickHouse, Managed Grafana Dashboards and OpenSearch. The AI line comprises AI Notebooks, AI Training, AI Deploy, AI Endpoints with a model catalogue and base and batch APIs, and on-demand clusters. A quantum offering adds emulators and access to quantum processing units through the Quantum Platform. Developer tools such as Terraform, CLI, Cloud Shell, SDK and MCP servers complete the set.

Hosted Private Cloud and sovereignty-qualified environments

For critical applications, OVHcloud lists Hosted Private Cloud options based on VMware, Nutanix and SAP HANA, the latter described as optimised on trusted cloud infrastructure. The site also details SecNumCloud-qualified solutions, including Bare Metal Pod, SecNumCloud Private Cloud and the SNC Cloud Platform, presented as the highest level of trust for cloud environments. An on-premises line, OPCP, is offered for deploying cloud solutions on a customer's own premises, with Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service layers and a cloud-ready landing zone.

VPS, dedicated servers and bare metal foundations

The VPS and dedicated server section markets dedicated servers at all performance levels with availability in minutes, and VPS as a balance of performance, flexibility and cost control. It also covers distributions and licences, bare metal foundations, network, storage and backup, security and identity, and operations. Preconfigured environments are named for WordPress, Drupal, Prestashop, Magento, Proxmox, KVM, VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V, and database workloads for ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, HBase and InfluxDB. A separate line addresses blockchain infrastructure with validator, RPC and archive nodes.

Web hosting, domains and email

Web hosting is divided into Eco for accessible prices, Business for professionals, and Agencies, designed to manage multiple websites under a single plan. The section also includes managed hosting for WordPress, video streaming without slowing websites, domain name registration, and Microsoft Exchange email described as the market standard hosted in Europe.

Infrastructure, sustainability and company information

The site publishes information on its global infrastructure, regions, datacentres and backbone, along with customer success stories, news, events and webinars. It also addresses data sovereignty, an Environmental Impact Tracker for cloud services, and a sustainable cloud programme in which the company describes itself as an innovator in water cooling committed to reducing emissions. Legal security and confidentiality texts applicable outside the EU are published separately.

Commercial programmes and support channels

OVHcloud maintains a partner programme and a Startup Program, and provides compliance and certification documentation alongside guides, roadmaps and changelogs for each product family. The site includes sales and support contact channels, a customer account area for orders and tickets, and webmail access. A promotional banner at the time of writing offered a free $270 credit to boost workloads.
