Octave Sleep

Octave Sleep and its memory foam mattress line

Octave Sleep is a Canadian mattress brand built around a three-model memory foam collection. The company presents its mattresses as an award-winning balance of comfort and support, and its catalogue is organised around three heights and price tiers: the Octave Vista (12 inches, from C$799), the Octave Mirage (13 inches, from C$999) and the Octave Horizon (14 inches, from C$1,299). The Vista is described as the top-selling model, the Mirage as an upgrade engineered for better cooling and pressure-point relief, and the Horizon as the premium version aimed at buyers who prioritise sleep.

All three models share a common set of features: cooling layers, pressure-point relief and motion isolation. The brand states that its mattresses are made in Canada and that its CopperGel™ memory foam was chosen for safe manufacturing standards and the natural antimicrobial properties of copper. It also indicates that the mattresses are certified low-VOC and free from heavy metals and ozone depleters.

Beyond the mattress: frames, bedding and bundles

The catalogue extends past mattresses into sleep accessories. Under bed frames, Octave lists an adjustable bed, an upholstered bed frame and a platform bed. The bedding range includes bamboo sheets, cooling Egyptian cotton sheets, a down alternative duvet, a Canadian down duvet, a waterproof mattress protector, down alternative pillows and an adjustable loft memory foam pillow. The store also sells bundles that pair a bed frame with a mattress, as well as a Premium Sleep Bundle with a duvet set.

Purchase conditions and trial period

Octave Sleep offers a 365-night sleep trial, free shipping within Canada (with possible fees for some remote regions) and a 15-year warranty. The site also mentions financing and bulk orders among its support options. The company reports that more than 25,000 Canadians have chosen its mattresses.

Awards and third-party recognition

The brand lists several distinctions attributed to outside publications and organisations. According to the information on its site, Octave was named Best Memory Foam Mattress in Canada by Canadian Living, Best Mattress in Canada Overall 2025 by Forbes, Canada's Best Cooling Mattress 2026 by the Sleep Foundation, Canada's Best Mattress for Pressure Relief 2025 by Sleep Advisor and Best Canadian Mattress for Couples 2025 by BuyersGuide.org. The site also features endorsements from health professionals and athletes, including chiropractors and Canadian Olympic gold medallist Brendon Rodney, who describes using the Octave Horizon.

Sleep and wellness positioning

The company frames its products around sleep health, arguing that restorative sleep supports muscle repair, immune function and mental regulation. It cites an internal survey of Octave owners conducted in February 2026, in which 88% of back pain sufferers said the mattress helped somewhat or a lot with their back pain. Other stated benefits include motion isolation to reduce disturbances and a cool-to-the-touch sleep surface.

Promotions listed at the time of writing

The site displayed a fall savings event that included a free Premium Sleep Bundle and duvet set with mattress purchase, 15% off bed frames and bedding, 20% off adjustable beds with a mattress purchase, and clearance bamboo sheets at 50% off in navy. The bundle contents vary by mattress size, and the company notes that some promotions may remain active after the countdown ends.
